How to get info from excel to tax1099

Follow these steps to start the import process using Excel: 

  • Log into your Tax1099 account 
  • Navigate to the menu on the left > select “Import” > “Excel Spreadsheet”
  • Select the form you would like to import to 
  • Download the template using CSV or Excel (Excel recommended)
  • Open the Excel template > red columns is what’s required 
  • Fill in the template with the data 
  • Select the file you created > click “Next”
  • Next page will show a form with the data you entered into it
  • Click “Next”
  • The next page will review the form and look for invalid information 
  • Solve any recipients with red or yellow dots
  • You may download the errors by clicking “Download Error List” 
  • Once all recipients have a green dot > click “Select All” > “Next”
  • On the next page you may select the delivery type for the forms, TIN matching, and State filing
  • Once completed > click “Next”
  • You’ll be navigated to the payment screen
  • Enter your payment details
  • A confirmation and payment receipt will be emailed to you

  • Make a payment and document it on the Excel spreadsheet
